But a moment on
The outside and
All thoughts turn
To trespass and Hannibal’s
Mountain campaign.

Longer outside and
One must learn to explain
Fist-shaped impressions
In objects more solid
Than a fist.

Outside a woman
It’s much too difficult
To explain such things.
